Masters rowers love a good training camp – an opportunity to get coached, to row somewhere new and to have a little break away!
The Legion of Rowers runs camps twice a year – normally four weeks before the big regattas (North Island Masters Championships in May and National Masters Championships in September). South Island Rowing runs camps twice a year – normally 4-6 weeks before their big regattas (South Island Masters Championships on Kings Birthday weekend in June and National Masters Championships in September).
Testimonials
Thanks for organising the camp. It was very useful. – Brent Smart, West End Rowing Club
It was a great session and I will take on their wise advice. We definitely improved within a short time and hope to build on this foundation for all our outings. – Simone Archer, North Shore Rowing Club
The camp was fantastic. For me, the best part was asking us to have a crew with us. We learned and listened as a group. We are on the same page as to what we need to focus on to improve. – Denise Duffy, Taupo Rowing Club

We can also help you to find masters’ coaches – not all coaches who look after the young rowers are not always keen on working with masters…
